Our office will be temporarily closed Feb.16-20 due to an unexpected staffing transition. I sincerely appreciate your patience as we work through this brief period of adjustment.
While the office will be physically closed and phone calls will not be answered, I will personally monitor the patient portal several times each day. Please use the portal for questions that are not life threatening. As usual have your pharmacy fax refills requests and I will respond as promptly as possible.
If you require lab work during this time, orders can be completed directly at LabCorp, as they are available in their system.
Over the next few weeks, there may be some scheduling adjustments as we transition and onboard new staff. If your appointment needs to be rescheduled, we will contact you directly.
If you experience a medical emergency or an urgent concern that cannot wait for a portal response, please visit an urgent care facility or Emergency room
DR. ELIZABETH MOTYKA, FACOG
Elizabeth G. Motyka is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist, who has been practicing in the Triangle area since 1990. She has extensive experience, having delivered over 5000 babies and done 750 major, and 3000 minor or minimally invasive surgeries and colposcopies. She has made complementary medicine an integral part of her private practice and has been called upon to lecture on the topic throughout the state as part of an NIH grant.
Dr. Motyka earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her Residency at UNC Hospitals. She was an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Dept of Ob/Gyn for nine years. She resides in Chapel Hill with her husband and daughter.
