Our office will be temporarily closed Feb.16-20 due to an unexpected staffing transition. I sincerely appreciate your patience as we work through this brief period of adjustment.
While the office will be physically closed and phone calls will not be answered, I will personally monitor the patient portal several times each day. Please use the portal for questions that are not life threatening. As usual have your pharmacy fax refills requests and I will respond as promptly as possible.
If you require lab work during this time, orders can be completed directly at LabCorp, as they are available in their system.
Over the next few weeks, there may be some scheduling adjustments as we transition and onboard new staff. If your appointment needs to be rescheduled, we will contact you directly.
If you experience a medical emergency or an urgent concern that cannot wait for a portal response, please visit an urgent care facility or Emergency room

For prescription refills please call your pharmacy and have them fax a request to 919.401.4503. Please be aware, we need 3 business days to coordinate with your pharmacy and respond to phone and fax requests regarding your refill. So please plan accordingly. Patients should have an annual in person exam to ensure safety and efficacy of on going medication management .

For registered patients the portal is available for messaging the practice throughout the business day. This is checked hourly.

For urgent problems, after hours, call the office (919. 401.4515) to be put directly in touch with the on call physician. This service is for direct access for the patient to a provider and is not a nurse triage phone line. We do not provide RX refills after hours.

In the event of life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

We cannot address clinical questions or refill requests via email due to HIPPA. Please submit all clinical questions through the patient portal. We encourage all women from adolescence to elderhood to come in annually for health promotional check ups. We also offer expert consultation and care in the following areas:

Dr. Motyka is not practicing Obstetrics or doing deliveries. Although she is holistic, she will make referrals for medical conditions out of her scope of expertise, such as cardiology, respiratory problems, joint issues, etc.
Dr. Motyka is currently not accepting new patients other than referrals for new patients with surgical and problem gyn issues. We are not accepting patients for routine care at this time
